FAPEFE is a non-partisan non-governmental organization (Non Profit) whose mission is to support disadvantaged and vulnerable populations through a high quality education. Created in 1990 and officially registered in May 2001, FAPEFE provides an inclusive education for all through support of the Bilingual Primary and Nursery Noula School in Yaounde, Cameroon.
FAPEFE directs its actions towards traditionally marginalized populations; in particular: orphans, people with disabilities, large families and the poor. The organization fights against poverty and social inequalities through promotion of children's rights. This is carried out by the school, created by FAPEFE August, 21 1997. The school has both a French section, grades Petite Section Maternelle to Cours Moyen 2, and an English section, grades pre-nursery to grade 6.
"When I helped to found FAPEFE and Ecole Noula, I had a vision of a world in which all children realize their full potential in a society that respects people's dignity. I am still committed to our humanitarian purpose of assisting the underprivileged children in Cameroon by bringing them opportunities for better lives.
We owe an eternal debt of gratitude to all of those, past and present, who assisted us in enhancing, empowering and restoring communities in need. We still look forward to working with new and old organizations, locally and internationally, to foster growth and development in needy Cameroonian communities. Please use this website to find more detailed information on our organization and what we are doing by way of meaningful civil society contribution. Even more, you will find information on how you might get involved with us in this unique approach to social engagement in Cameroon.
While hoping that you will find useful information here, we welcome your comments, inquiries and suggestions."
